Test of Early Language Development -Spanish (TELD 3:S) (#23456-IN)
The Test of Early Language Development, Third Edition, Spanish Version (Teld-3:S) is a translation and adaptation of the Test of Early Language Development, Third Edition. The Teld-3:S is appropriate for use with children between the ages of 2-0 and 7-11. Individual subtests include Receptive and Expressive Language. An Overall Spoken Language score is provided. All scores are standard scores with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15. Percentiles and age equivalents are provided.
The Teld-3:S was normed on 1441 children residing in Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain, and the United States. In the United States, 12 states (Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Texas, Oregon, and Washington), the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico are represented.Finally, the items were examined to ensure that little or no bias relative to gender, disability, race, socioeconomic level, ethnic group, and dialect variation existed. Differential item functioning techniques were used to examine all items for potential bias. A chart is provided to ensure that appropriate vocabulary is used during administration.
The Teld-3:S Manual is printed in English except for the item instructions and the appendices used for scoring.
