Speech and language software has many valuable uses in the rehabilitation of indiduals with language impairments resulting from stroke or head injury. Aphasia is a language disorder in which clients experience difficulty retrieving vocabulary. These clients often receive speech therapy, but also need home practice to stimulate the language sections of the brain.
