The pictures in this product can be used teach basic vocabulary to students with communication disorders, autism, or developmental disabilities. The resource targets vocabulary that most children learn prior to entering kindergarten. This is also a great resource for second language learners. The reproducible record forms include a listing of the words in English and Spanish.
All of the pictures are simple black line drawings with no shading. These pictures are especially helpful when working with students who have difficulty responding to complex drawings. The Basic Vocabulary Picture Resource includes pictures from the Communication Picture Sourcebook, a resource that has been widely used in programs for students with special needs. The improved image format in the new digital edition makes it possible to print out better quality images.
This product is not a "software program." and, therefore, does not allow you to customize pages before printing them out. All of the printable pages have an 8.5" x11" page size.
