Talk About Stories in English and Spanish (#4808-IN)

Ages 4 through 8. This book of reproducible picture stories can be used to promote the development of auditory comprehension, sequencing, and basic storytelling skills in English or Spanish. Each of the short stories is less than 100 words in length and includes four pictures.

After students have listened to the story and answered the questions, have them sequence the pictures and retell the story.

In addition to using the stories to promote language development, they can be helpful in teaching important moral values. The story characters encounter situations in which they must decide how to behave, interact, and communicate when various problems are encountered. Being honest, sharing, showing concern for others, acting in a responsible manner, and other topics are covered in the short stories.
