Resources for English Language Learners (ELL Students) and Bilingual Education Programs are among those published by Academic Communication Associates. Many of these materials are especially valuable for students with communication disorders and special learning needs. Materials are available for the development of vocabulary, grammar, speech sound production, thinking skills, and the functional use of language. Language assessment instruments are available for assessing proficiency in Spanish. ACA publishes over 250 products and many are gearred for the needs of students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

A variety of products are also available for teaching idiomatic expressions. The Expressionary includes over 10,000 expressions in the English language that may pose difficulties for individuals learning English as a second language. The book is presented in a dictionary style format with sentence examples and short definitions for each of the expressions.
